note on self-reliability: I have a mirror above me on one of my desk shelves, and it's angled so that when I look up, I can see myself. now, whenever I look up, I can talk to myself. and then I laugh cause I'm ridiculous, but I realize that I'm more reliable to myself than I am to anybody, or anybody in my phonelist is to me.
